HISTORY

 David Shaffner, owner of Filterfresh Piedmont, opened his franchise in October, 1987.  "I remember it well" says David.  "I had to liquidate right after "Black Monday" on the stock market.  As a CPA, the IRS was taxing my psyche to the point of imbalance.  Long hours and disgusting coffee perked my interest in a Wall Street Journal ad.  My enthusiasm was contagious enough to convince stockholders, through private placement, to join this financially strapped entrepreneur.  I've never regretted leaving my taxing occupation. 

TERRITORY

Filterfresh Piedmont services several counties including the Triad and Triangle areas, representing 6 larger cities in central North Carolina.

PHILOSOPHY

Filterfresh is the originator of single cup coffee.  It is our primary product and we are set up to provide the best product, the largest selection, and immediate service.

STAFF

David Shaffner is proud of his Piedmont staff as is evidenced by the low employee turnover.
